The Imagineers at Walt Disney World® Resort are always Imagineering, and the rest of the world? We’re just trying to catch up and catch Thrills. And this time, we mean it literally as the most important theme park brand in the world has launched their Thrills campaign, featuring new attractions and excitement that’s sure to set pulses pounding and eyes alight.
First, one that will do that literally. The much buzzed-about TRON Lightcycle / Run attraction presented by Enterprise is up and it is lit. Reviews have been rave about this high-tech, high-speed ride that shoots riders through the Grid in an exhilarating motorcycle-style seat as lights pulse and music pounds all around this partially indoor semi-dark experience.
This is the newest addition to the collection of Disney Thrills found across its parks, a collection that includes rides designed to live up to the campaign’s name. For example, soaring high above Pandora on a banshee. Taking control of the Millennium Falcon with the crew. Revisiting the stories we love in interactive, movement-based ways, such as hitting the mines in Seven Dwarves Mine Train or spinning in those famous teacups.
Thrills can even be as simple as meeting favorite Disney Characters and getting the hug you’ve been longing for since childhood or eating at Woody’s very own restaurant, the newly opened Roundup Rodeo BBQ in Toy Story Land.
Essentially, the Disney Thrills campaign is designed around showcasing the things that bring happy screams, nonstop laughter, or jaw-dropping, silent awe to the one experiencing them.
And to make it easier to do so, Disney has a lot of new features fans need to know about. Headlining is push ticketing, which is booking tickets with Funjet Vacations right away so you can immediately link them to your client’s Disney Experience account. Be sure to note that both a valid theme park admission and reservation are required for guests three and older. Once booked with Funjet, the confirmation number of these refundable tickets will be accessible as soon as the ticket purchase has been completed, but they’re still modifiable prior to travel. However, once you modify it or redeem it at the park, it’s no longer refundable.
Regardless, booking your park admission ticket in advance not only sets up their admission within the app, but lets the app do a bunch of extra work for you. For example, Genie+ helper features, and access to Lightning Lane upgrades and Virtual Queues to shorten their standing-around time – big timesavers for busy families seeking Disney Thrills!
To get even more Thrills from a Disney visit, we have more exciting news: Disney After Hours is now available through Funjet Vacations!
